If you have a Yamaha guitar with the original RM PRO Tremolo, I have the 3 page manual. It's in post #6

Good morning. Would you be willing to share? I have a 612A in very good shape. Got it for $100 back in 2016 due to the previous owner not knowing how to use the trem and the 3 mini toggles for pickup selection were broken. All of that's been resolved. The guitar is playing really good.

Man, I have a rgx612a as well and I hate the tremolo, found it useless. I ended up blocking it.

Yeah...I can see that 100%. I don't think it's "that" bad. Dive bomb string slack feels similar to a Floyd. Movement is similar but not quite as good as it could be and that might be a service thing for its age. I don't mind it. Once it's intonated and setup proper...its not a bad system. It does have the "STOP" mechanism built in which is handy.

It's no Floyd, but during that time, there was lots of innovation...good and bad / hit and miss... The RM-PRO series went through many revisions...and well....not all that good by today's standards...maybe even yesterdays. In any case, That's part of the guitar that I think is cool. I dig the RGX and RGZ customs that have it...they look dope. Revisions after...just...don't look cool lol. I dunno how to explain it.

Could I get a copy of the manual? Have an SE1203A with the RM Pro version 1 (not 2). No one has any documentarion on it although the adjustment points seem the same as a Floyd.

Here you go! There are 3 images from the manual. 5 pages total. Pages 2 and 3 both show double pages.

SEE POST # 6. You'll find it there. Sorry that I missed your post earlier.

Oh my gosh, thank you so much @JohnnyGtar !! These are such forgotten and underrated guitars; it's nice to see some fellow weirdos out there who appreciate them and want to keep them in playing order. Thank you again!

You're very welcome. I had a Yamaha Image Deluxe with that trem and it worked beautifully. When I saw what was to become MY Yamaha RGX Standard, the RM-PRO Tremolo is one of the big reasons I bought it.

Fantastic. Thanks so much. I Appreciate this. This will help in keeping some great Yamaha's alive and well in all respects!

Glad to do it man. I've turned into a Yamaha junkie. Their gear is so good! I had a Yamaha Image Deluxe that I had to sell 25 years ago. Just a phenomenal guitar. A little over a year ago, I saw an RGX Standard on a Music Go Round website, talked with the wife because we confer on expenses. She wants me to have gear so she said "Go for it!", so I pulled the trigger. I won't sell this Yamaha unless I absolutely have to because it's that good.

The Yamaha arrived the day after we went home after the fire evacuation was lifted. We were evac'd for a little over a week. Nice timing!

I've owned Yamaha's since 1995 proudly owning 5 in total. Is there a spot in the forum to share Yamaha Guitar love?

Then it shall be. Electric and acoustics. Love the Yamaha instruments. The way shall be paved.
