Dig it.

The longest running major band with all the original members. Still sounds like ZZ Top.

I saw them only once, the Tres Hombres tour. Styx opened back when Styx was a rock band.

Hellacious concert. About 8' from center stage on the floor, right next to the stage barrier.

Billy has kept his touch, signature groove no matter what gear he plays, always sounds like Billy.

I got to see then once too. Excellent concert!

They still know how to bring it!

YEah.....true to their sound....
Love me some ZZ TOP!
Grew up with them from the 70's till today. Even loved the afterburner "techno" ZZ.... :D

Bought it the day it came out...great album!
Ya, I did too... this is as close to classic, pure ZZ Top as it gets, not so much for the the "eliminator fans", but if Tres Hombre's was up your alley it is for you. I'm digging this one alot.

Added it to my wish list. I can't believe how many new albums I have bought this year, I usually am late to the party....

Rhythmeen was better
The tones on that album weren't nearly as good as this one IMO...I do dig Rhythmeen though, it was the last great ZZ album before La Futura.

The last great entire album was Tre Hombres for me. Lots of other cool singles along the way.. Hombres was one you could put on and let it roll. Jesus just left Chicago was sweet. Although Fool For Your Stockings may be my fav one song.

Lotsa good rock and roll blues over the years fo sho.

I love the early stuff, Tres, Mud.....

But my favorite ZZ album is Mescalero, by a mile.

I remember riding my Schwinn Stingray down to Treasure Island department store and buying "Tush" on a 45, I think I was 10.
That record made me want to play guitar.
Fandango for me, LOL.

I gotta say I real don't have a favorite ZZ CD. I like songs from all of them. I guess my favorite song would be Brown Sugar...no, Cheap Sunglasses...no, Waiting On The Bus...no, Just Got Paid Today...no, My Heads In Mississippi...no, ...etc. etc.

I'm really dig'n the dry-in-your-face lead tones on the new CD. This is definitely a throwback to the Brown Sugar era.

The slide on I'm Bad, I'm Nationwide....

Fuck yeah.

ZZ Top os just one of those timeless bands....good stuff.
