The 1987 was suppose to be the year they stamped "10-Tops" although I don't see any marking on the headstock or neck cavity.
Doesn't really matter though when the top looks like this. 10 or not.
It has the polished one piece mil-com bridge and T & B stamps pickups.
Best of all aside from being a nice looking piece it has a great variety of tones. The switching is the original 5 way where the middle position is both bass and treble.
I believe this was changed in later year to a variation of split coils in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th position.
The serial is in the low 2300 range.
