Just pickup up a mint condition, no fretwear, dings dents or other issues Custom 24.
Been looking for an early PRS for a while and was able to snag this one.
Weighs about 8.3lbs, dark ebony-like Brazilian fretboard.

Happy new old guitar day!

From the old factory too it seems

Very sweet! Love the broad flames - if that top was on a vintage Les Paul.....!

Must be a super low serial number, 2nd year of full production and all!?

The 1987 was suppose to be the year they stamped "10-Tops" although I don't see any marking on the headstock or neck cavity.
Doesn't really matter though when the top looks like this. 10 or not.
It has the polished one piece mil-com bridge and T & B stamps pickups.
Best of all aside from being a nice looking piece it has a great variety of tones. The switching is the original 5 way where the middle position is both bass and treble.
I believe this was changed in later year to a variation of split coils in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th position.
The serial is in the low 2300 range.
