NGD: Agile "Les Paul" Custom Shop; got it back from friend

Been a while since anyones talked about these on the forums, huh?

Lent this guitar out for a couple years to a friend and got it back just the other day. I almost completely forgot about it. I think I got incredibly with this guitar, it resonates like a bell, truly great sustain and tone. And believe me when I say I've played some great les pauls in the past, I would put this right up there with them... Mainly because it's built exactly to my specs

Those Agile LPs are great values IMO...no they aren't as good as a 'good' LP but I've played some piss poor Standards that I'd take an Agile over any day...nice nogd!

I love my Agile silverburst. Bought it right here on the forums. Gonna swap some pickups in and out tonight on it actually. I've got a set of EMGs here..85/60A I think? I never use EMGs, so I might as well give it a try.

I really do love that guitar, especially with all the paint off the back of the neck. It's better than a lot of LPs I've played.

I just swapped my guitars from EMGs back to passives. I used an 85/60 set up for years and loved it, but they don't do anything passives can't keep up with these days.. Did you strip the paint off the neck yourself? That's the only thing I could think to change on this guitar. Pics of your neck?

The guy who had it before me did it. I don't remember who I bought it from, dammit. It was here on the boards. I'll look through my post history and find out. I've had it for a long time now.

I'll take some pictures and post them in just a bit. I'm recording some guitar tracks right now

EDIT: Dawnofdreamsx97 sold it to me here on RT. Got it on July 10th, 2010. Still got it. I'm not much for selling gear, haha.

I usually just use steel wool and strip off the clear coat, I wouldn't think you'd have to go all the way down to the paint.

Very nice the color is awesome i almost got an Agile there nice guitars
