NGD - Caparison Horus CC

Just picked this up from the courier depot this morning. I'm trying to avoid honeymooning over this thing, but I'm totally gobsmacked by how clean and precise it is. Impeccable quality. Shreds like nothing else out there that I've tried. It's so nice to play. Sounds great unplugged. Looking forward to hearing it through an amp. Not sure what to expect there as I know nothing about Caparison pickups. Anybody have any experience with Caparison's PH-bc bridge and SH-27F Neck pickups?

Congrats. I love the Horus, I have 2 of them and just love the feel. I tried the extended 26.5, 27 and 28 inch guitars and in reality the 24.75 inch of the Horus fits me perfect.

The Caparison pickups are actually pretty good, they match the guitar pretty well. However I did replace them in mine, but I always am screwing around with pickups.

Nice NGD! I have a blue one and wouldn’t swap out the factory pickups. The volume control is very interactive with them.

Congrats, it looks friggin awesome! Recently got a Caparison TAT, but put Fishmans in right away, so I can't really say anything about the pickups.

Ha! Would you believe immediately after trying out this Horus, I ordered a Dellinger Providence 7-String.
Should be arriving in the next few days.

Aren't they just awesome! This guitar went straight to my #1 position.
After experiencing 009 strings on the shorter 24.75" scale length of the Horus, I strung one of my 25.5" guitars with a set of 008 strings to get it feeling closer to the Horus with 009's and I'm finding I prefer 25.5" guitars with the 008's.
Haven't tried the pickups yet as I'm amp-less at the moment (haven't had an amp for about 2 years now). But I have an amp incoming next month, so I'll put them through their paces then.
