So I went shopping for an acoustic electric earlier today after a drs appointment. My band is thinking of trying out some new stuff and doing a middle of the set deal with me and the vocalist where we do a couple of tunes acoustically. Well I had good intentions but fate decided i needed a charvel instead   . I got to playing a few from a chlorine burst pro mod to an ash bodied pro mod and then This okoume dk24. They all played great but this one had some mojo. It was made very well and the fit and finish spot on. This okoume body had more depth and punch than the others and the tone was just there. Y’all know what I mean. Some guitars just have the goods. I didnt get an acoustic electric but I did get this !

Looks great man. Charvel necks are the real deal, nothing more comfortable to play IMO.
Congrats!

Been very curious about these, that one in particular. Never played that type of wood before, had no idea what to expect, so thats good to hear. At the price they are selling for, looks hard to beat

Lmaool! So much for an acoustic. I mean talk about 180°, all kidding aside that's a great choice. Want! I was about to pull the trigger on the same axe. Not familiar with the Okume(spelling) but liked the look and the Duncans! Had a good feel to it and the floyd. Gotta love gas , maybe you would post some clips? That seems like what my acoustic guitar  shopping

I bought a pair of Dinky 24s last weekend. Great guitars in every way. The necks are pretty killer., although not as “raw” as my MIJ neck, but still has that unmistakable Charvel feel.
