Please pardon my aggravation, but if enough people bring poor service to light, maybe it'll cycle out some of the crap guys and influence the hiring of decent talent in the sales force.
Here's what I sent to the store manager:
I was in your store approx 10 days ago looking for the EBMM Morse Darklord. I had seen this guitar advertised and Musicians Friend had a Mother's Day 15% off coupon (Music Man was participating in the sale offer). So not having the chance to play one yet I decided to drop in since your store had one in stock. I got a sales guy to pull the guitar down, I plugged it into the same amp I have at home and gave it a demo. After playing it I was ready to buy it (if the price match could be done $2222.00 less 15%) and the salesman seemed to be busy, also he wasn't too thrilled about honoring the price match (even though Guitar Center/Musicians Friend/Music 123 are all owned by Bain Capital). Nevertheless, this perturbed me and I left. Decided to look the guitar up online and purchased one. I am now looking to trade my mint 5 mo old Bogner Custom Shop Twin Jet (white tolex) on a 20th Anniversary Ecstasy which I think you had in stock when I was there last. Not sure I'll be helped out though...what say you sir?
