Yeah i found it in an ad for sell on the old harmony central archive from 2007 lol. Definitely a gain reducing mod to match the channels closer i guess. I put a 12ax7 back in and kept the knob at half. Seems to keep the noise down. Thing has a fuck ton gain even with the trim knob at half and the gain knob at 10:00. Im going ti try and do a short clip with a cab an a mic later this week.

Can you post gut shots? That would help the most. ENGL loves thin PCBs, if it’s a chassis mounted pot it’s aftermarket.

I don't think gut shots are going to help much, the way these are built:
(PCB is flipped upside down, and on the other side there is no silk screen so you have no idea which components are which)

We'd need a technical service manual to figure it out (which I assume is against some NDA to share here, otherwise I like to think I'd have found one by now...)
