NGD - Fender Strat content

I was on a vacation in Japan and found this killer Ishibashi Music factory special run Strat; Modern C, 42mm nut width, narrow tall frets, push/pull tonepot for splitting the hum, alder body with flame maple top… What a killer MIJ Strat with flawless finish/construction!

That's one of the most intense tops I've ever seen on a Fender. Sweet score!

Indeed! The Ishibashi Ochanomizu shop had one of these in stock but luckily I had noticed this on their website. The salesman made a call and arranged me this guitar for the next day from the Ishibashi warehouse. It weights 3.43kg/7.56lbs and sounds huge.

Visited the amazing Ochanomizu guitar shop street(s), couple of flagship stores in Shibuya and the Fender flagship store. Just incredible number of high end guitars per shop.

Wow...full top or a veneer? The way the flame sort of changes directions on the treble side of the guitar is wild. It sort of does it on the bass side too, but not as wild. That's an awesome guitar!

Alder body w. Flame maple top. When changing the angle the top is bookmatched perfectly but then from other angle it is a bit off.
