If you look at the contours on the back body , you can see where Gibson got ideas for the lp Axcess
 
Congrats! That's a stunner. I had an 87 or 88 SG Elite in the same finish a couple of years ago & foolishly sold it. After my '62 SG/LP Jr, it was the best SG I'd owned.
 
Here we go, found a pic of the SG Elite after I'd gotten all the goofy shit (TP6, coil split, locking nut) swapped.

That is cool as hell. I don't think I have ever seen one of those before. :rock:
 
I had a gold one that was a Showcase Edition. It was all scratched on the top by the previous owners ex-wife. Stupidly I traded it with ass-hat Pat on the JCF. My worst deal Ive ever done. Congrats those things are killer. Wish I still had mine.
