NGD: Friedman Vintage T

[SFW]

So... I was bored and browsing the Sweetwater site when I ran across this Friedman Vintage T. I love purple and have been wanting to try one of Dave's guitars. I am very impressed. This guitar is resonant! You can hit a big "G" chord and feel the entire guitar vibrating. The only other guitar I own that does that is my CS Les Paul R7 Custom. The pickups perfectly bring the guitar into solid rock territory. I was a little worried, as I tend to like hotter pickups... but these work well for anything from classic rock to 90s aggro. James Gang to AIC with ease. (I still might throw something hotter in the bridge, but I'm not in a hurry.) Sounds great with both my Friedman BE-50 and my EVH Stealth. So far, I am very happy with this purchase.

Glad you dig it, I’ve checked out this same model myself online. I’m a sucker for a purple tele!

I passed on one with P90s a few years back and still regret it. They're hard to find now. Wicked guitars!

I’ve had that same one in my cart a few times. it really looks great in your picture. Sometimes it’s hard to tell with the Sweetwater studio lighting.

I believe all Friedman and RNR Relics pickups are wound by arcane so they are quality stuff but I think even the classic + is wound more like a PAF and only around 8k

Yeah, I had a classic plus in a Les Paul a few years ago. Sounded great, but the Afwayu is more my jam...lol!
