Won't get to pop it open til tonight unfortunately (my son sent me this pic). I have always dug the look of Guerilla's stuff but have never had the chance to try one out. I remember reading some horror stories as well as a lot of praise for them. Very polarizing in feedback from people. Doubly so on their aesthetic.
I missed them at NAMM in January which bummed me out. They had some stuff on their site for really good prices given the spec's and I worked out a deal on one. This one has a finish like the Suhr drip, SD Black Winters, Hipshot bridge, neck thru, etc. The stuff they are selling on their site for cheap (relatively speaking) are old stock models it seems. Mine was built for NAMM 2019 and was built in the Canada shop. They have a few import 7/8 strings up there.
We worked out a bit better of a deal in trade for a demo/review vid. I said I'd do one and decided since there is so much "hit or miss" on these guys that I am going to go full on "Arnold Plays Guitar" and do an unboxing and 100% no BS overview of it.
I'll get more pics tonight once I get home and actually get it opened up.
Old complaints I have heard are huge necks and really thick finishes. Newest feedback from some recent owners is necks are more like the Wizard necks and finishes are lovely.
