I still have them for great prices new (not a whole lot more than guys are asking for them used) and I set them up, test them out to make sure they are good sounding, resonant guitars and you don't get stuck with a dud, and they have full factory warranties for the original owner) and have quite a few left. These are discontinued and I bought up most of the ones Charvel had left. Send me a PM if you are interested. With what I sell them for new, a used one shouldn't be more than about $700 for dead mint.

Is it true that they stopped making the American Production models?

NICE!!! I've been GASing for a pagan gold So Cal for a while now, thanks for fueling the fire!

The 8th batch is the final batch of USA Production models. The 8th batch is still trickling into stores though the slime green So Cals are not yet. I am telling people that really like these guitars to buy them now. I have heard rumors of what is next and I will not divulge a thing for fear of losing my dealership. They are extremely serious about this. But again, all I can say is if you like these buy them now because you might not like what is happening next.

Congrats! It looks SWEET (great pics). I picked up a 7th batch So-Cal when they hit, swapped out the TZ and Evo Neck with a Super Distortion and PAF Pro myself, just LOVE those two pups. The TZ and EVO were fine of course in that guitar, just think the amp one will be mostly running through also factors in, in my case a QR, so a swap was kinda in order, just needed a slightly less zingy match. Love it now! In fact, I wan't a San Dimas whenever the right one presents itself...

This was my understanding from talking to the shop owner. Some dealers are holding onto stock of what they have left of these models because things are changing. He also mentioned to hold on to this one for the future (not that I'd get rid of it anyway).
I'm tempted to grab a couple more before new stock is all gone.

great guitars, I love mine!

 She's a beauty. I have a guy that lives about 4 miles from me with one just like yours and it is brand new.
He does not play it and he wants $750.00
I have really been holding myself back to kep from buying it.
I got my first charvel from Curt/Squid music and it is a candy tangerine san-dimas. Charvels are tops for the price they go for. CONGRATS ON YOURS.

$750!? What?! Buy it now! :m17:

I paid $650 for mine, slightly used. Slime green baby!

Man, those are some great prices! I traded for mine so......no cash.

Question: Are those So-Cal and San Dimas models basically a strat body, or is it more like a Jackson Soloist? Looks like a strat bod in the pics.
