NGD: Ibanez RG565, longtime search over. :)

I've always been looking for one of these, finally was lucky enough to get one in AWESOME condition. I actually got this guitar about a month ago, without pickups I bought some EMGs and I've been painting them slowly during the past couple weeks. Very excited about it. Have to get a new pickup ring, but otherwise it's awesome

EMG 85/SA setup. SA painted Orange, 85 is Pink/Green. Strap is Orange too.. doesn't show up right

Best damn guitars i ever played. I have the 4 matches and god damn i`m always playing them. I switch for a while but not for long, when i get back to them, i feel like i`m back home or something.

Here are mine:

Red one is in Drop C
Blue one is in Drop B
Green one is in D standard
Black is in E flat but going to C standard soon.

Enjoy it man.

Oh and Anderson pickups in those just flat out kill

I'm on a quest to get all the blue/maple late 80's Ibanez Shredders! RG770 is next!

Yaaay..... I love Ibanez reverse headstock guitars. There's just not enough Ibanez love around here (with all the Suhr guitar frenzy). Funny, seeing as a ton of ppl's sigs have Ibanez guitars listed. I have always wanted one of these. The wizard necks always feel like home to me... my first Ibanez was an early RG550 LB. Great score, and it's in fabulous condition.

The Black one actually is but the blue now has an Anderson single. The red and green have the originals and these are soooo awesome. I like them better. I`d like to get some original ones to put back in the black and blue.

Yeah. I think Suhr's prob blow my Ibanez's out of the park.. but for the price, you can't beat these guitars! If I'm gonna have the kind of money to buy a $$$ guitar, you can be sure it'll be a J-Custom or JEM of some sort though!

Sorry to say, it ain`t gonna happen

Man these are really great guitars man, they are very inconsistent though, all of them feel different. The red one i had to buy 3 before i got a good one. The blue is my second one. The purple, luckily is my first and was perfect. It`s a bit more rare. There a bit like finding a good Paul, you know when you get your hands on one that you ain`t lettin` it go.

Jemsite has some for sale frequently.

Ibanez made, at least for Europe, a run of similar models couple of years ago. Those weren't prestige series though... Ibanez should really start making them again in different colors.
