Best damn guitars i ever played. I have the 4 matches and god damn i`m always playing them. I switch for a while but not for long, when i get back to them, i feel like i`m back home or something.

Here are mine:

Red one is in Drop C
Blue one is in Drop B
Green one is in D standard
Black is in E flat but going to C standard soon.

Enjoy it man.

Oh and Anderson pickups in those just flat out kill

I'm on a quest to get all the blue/maple late 80's Ibanez Shredders! RG770 is next!

The Black one actually is but the blue now has an Anderson single. The red and green have the originals and these are soooo awesome. I like them better. I`d like to get some original ones to put back in the black and blue.

was gonna ask which you prefer out of the dragon and cobra? are they quite similar or is there a huge difference between the two?

I've often thought of changing out the pickups in my 565 but then I play it and the stock pickups sound SO good...!

Congrats on a great score...the 565 is my favorite RG. I would love add one to my lineup but I find most RGs simply don't sound very good...combine that with the rarity of the 565 and I've never come across one for sale that I liked (played several great ones that weren't available though).

Sorry for not responding earlier i didn`t see your post

I prefered the Cobra, the crunch channel is the crunch machine. And the cleans are quite impressive. The only drawback was the damn loop. It`s quite finicky. That and the amp is not super loud, well the one i had anyways.

The Dragon was quite nice too but had too much bass for me, depth down and bass down and still a lot but then you loose on the tone when there that low.

Both are sold now and the Peters Gryphon is still the king of them all. Probably always will.

I've always been looking for one of these, finally was lucky enough to get one in AWESOME condition. I actually got this guitar about a month ago, without pickups I bought some EMGs and I've been painting them slowly during the past couple weeks. Very excited about it. Have to get a new pickup ring, but otherwise it's awesome

EMG 85/SA setup. SA painted Orange, 85 is Pink/Green. Strap is Orange too.. doesn't show up right

I'm thinking about getting one of those EMG wireless kits.. Something's not right about the output of the SA, I think it's the wiring.. It's $30 for the kit, which includes 4 pots and everything. Doesn't seem too bad, right?
