Building a partscaster.. Bought this body off of warmoth's showcase and tried doing my own finishing on it.

Ordering a birdseye maple neck from musikraft. Debating if I should go for the EVH contour and/or if I should step up to "premium" or "private reserve" woods..

If the EVH contour is anything like the EBMM EVH contour, I say do it.

Neck P/U is a Pearly Gates, Bridge I dont remember - some dimarzio pickup I had laying around.
Bridge is a Ping Floyd Rose w/ oversized brass block

Cost (most of the parts were laying around but if you had to buy
*pickups (off ebay) ~$50 each used
*Ping FR (I would suggest buying real floyd, the fine tuners arent as nice as the genuine floyd's) $200ish
*body ~$220
*misc hardware (jacks, jack plate, neck plate, neck screws, tuners, etc) $100
*neck (I will probably get the EVH contour w/ AAAAA birdseye) ~$450

= roughly $1k
