This is a wonderful post.

Great dog and great guitar -- subjects to with many of us relate.

Sorry for your loss, and happy for your gain.

Do you have the spec sheet to share?
Sorry, it's a crappy iPad picture. My wife is getting ready to photograph a wedding today, so I don't have access to her pro equipment. :D

Cool story and awesome guitar! Luxxtone is putting out some of my favorite looking guitars lately. Congratulations!

Thanks, guys! I got to play it for about 90 minutes last night and again this morning for a couple hours. It truly is awesome. The VHIIs are very bright in the ash body, very different response than the ones mounted in my PRS CU22, and have a lot of bite to them, yet still clean up surpringly well with the volume pot. There was definitely some knob twisting going on with the amp controls on both the Atomica and V-Rock. Once I got the EQs adjusted, mostly the treble and presence dialed back a bit, sheer gold. This thing will have zero trouble cutting through the mix plugged into those amps. Though, those amps are the golden children, IMO. ;) I'm going to try it out with the CCV and a few different modules in the MOD50 in a bit when my puppies run out of some energy and take a nap.

Awesome    I bet it smokes with the Atomica and the CCV!!!

I love that guitar, awesome job to all involved.

How u finding the VHII's with the tone woods selected?
I've got a pair of VHII's in my Custom24 that I'm really surprised me.

Well, Jim bumped up an old thread.

I really like the VHIIs in this guitar. They're bright, but not TOO bright - if you know what I mean. I had VHIIs in a PRS CU22 as well and I think they fit better in this guitar. I definitely would use again.
