I have it from ones who interacted with Lisa outside the forum that to the best of their knowledge she has indeed passed. Her family has my condolences and empathy. This thread is to be a memorial for Lisa. Out of respect for her, her family, and her memory let's keep this to good intentions and positive memories.
Lisa's giveaway contests were always fun to participate in. I got lucky and won a guitar from one. When changing pickups and doing a setup I found an L with heart around it scratched into the spring cavity. When I asked Lisa about it she said it was something she learned from her grandpa. He taught her to mark her gear in an inconspicuous place so it could be identified if anything ever happened to it. That mark will always be a reminder to me of where/who this guitar came from.
She apparently had some game programming knowledge and had been working on a RPG style game using Rig-Talk threads and forum members as a base for the story. From what she told me about it, it was going to be sort of like an old school Final Fantasy type RPG. She had even gotten some RT members contribute music to it. The last time I talked to her about it she was working out the final bugs to get it ready for release. Unfortunately I don't know if she was ever able to finish it up. For any Rig-Talk gamers it sounded like it would have been a pretty fun game to play with the added bonus of being connected to the forum.
