she's here! see below for specs ,

2009 Carvin Dc127m quilted maple top , mahogany back and neck, ebony fretboard, medium jumbo nickel frets, sperzel tuners, 25" scale , 24 frets, in umber stain w/ sunsetburst edges with Deep Triple Step option.

All i can say is i am very very impressed and honestly blown away at the quality of this intrument. I handle many many many guitars a day at the shop and i have to say Carvins quality is really second to none. The fretwork and finishing detail is simply amazing. Even the setup right of the box was perfect, including the intonation. Someone took the time to set this instrument up correctly, and it shows! Bends are super easy and smooth with the ebony board/14 inch radius. The guitar is very ALIVE and has a nice low end thunk to it. Stock pickups SUPRISINGLY not bad! (although we all know ill be changing them soon)

The electronics cavity is lined with beautiful copper shielded tape and wired beautifully. The screws for the electronics cavity are machine screws ,and have small threaded dowels recessed into the wood rather then using wood screws that expand the wood over time.

This is an incredible instrument and im 100% happy i took the chance and ordered this thing! All around incredible, especially at a $1300 price point shipped to my DOOR! In person is even sexier!

How does she play? That top is nice, especially for the price :)

Plays incredible.

Im going to post specs and a review in a minute. I'm blown away , the value in this guitar is just incredible.

Congrats on the guitar and the cat.
I've been a Carvin player for years and still have 6 of them. There is no equal to the build quality and playbility for the money, IMHO. Never had an issue with any of them. Their pickups can be hit or miss and their pots and switches are cheap, but honestly, I usually change that stuff out anyway.

Enjoy~!

Nice looking fiddle man and I lubs me some Ebony board!

Holy crap, I just saw the price!!!! Man that's sweet.

Looks awesome
Cute kitty too, even though I think they're the devil's spawn(allergic to most) :D
I'd love to hear a review with comparisons to other guitars(LP's, PRS', anything else lots of us are familar with).

Thats the coolest Carvin I've seen! Very nice score  We expect a full review soon

Thanks, the cat is really cool... he is a good boy so far.

The guitar reminds me of a mixture between a PRS and an Ernie ball music man petrucci, I like it more then the music man especially the fretboard. . .

Very Nice!
I'm a Carvin fan. I've owned quite a few over the years and loved them all.

Sweet looking guitar! I think I like the look of the back even more than the front!! :)

Love that finish.
