Just came in today ..... getting ready to plug her in now ...

according to Sweetwater the weight was 10 lb 10 oz ............ and feels every bit of it

I added the Plek Pro setup ....... and so far glad I did ..... the neck just plays like butter ....

Impressions? How do you like it?
So far I love it .... I will say it's bright sounding ... the pick ups really surprised me ... I've never liked any Gibson pickups I've had come in a guitar until now ...
The shape and feel of the neck is perfect IMO ...
If I were to bitch about anything it would be the lack of locking Grovers

I'm going to replace the orange drops with Emerson Paper in Oils ... and maybe change the values .... we'll see what that does to the over all brightness .

Nice. Bright Pickups would be good for my A Standard Tuning i guess. Do you know how they compare to the 498t?
Standard Grovers always worked for me, but i prefer the Gotoh Magnum Locking Tuners i must say.

I've had the 498t come in a couple of mu Gibsons... I couldn't yank them out fast enough
I've only played my Custom through my Ceriatone 800 ... today / tonight I'll plug it into my higher gain options ...
