Been on a Les Paul kick lately. Just bought a Collector's Choice "Shanks" LP last week. Absolute killer guitar. Then a few days later, another bucket list guitar of mine, this 2008 Bonamassa Custom Shop aged goldtop came up. It's one of the original 300 made. The aging on this one was done well, not all of them were great.
Found this one on the Peach guitar site. The price was very good, but I've never bought a guitar from a UK shop. I had few questions about it, since I couldn't see it in person. Jeff from Peach guitars emailed me back quickly and pulled the guitar to go over it himself. He told me it was excellent (for an aged guitar), so I made the purchase.
So I was thinking, yeah I'll have this guitar in about two weeks once it gets here from England and clears customs. So I check FedEx tracking. They shipped it next day International Priority! Shipped on 14th and I picked up last nigh the 15th. Wow!
The guitar is incredible. In excellent shape and was packed really well in two boxes. This one also has the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop Bonamassa limited edition pickups in it. $375 set. I'm totally loving this thing and can't say enough about Peach guitars. They have a lot of great guitars in their inventory and have outstanding customer service.
