Yes, I know I'm busy selling 2 other CTs...but I acquired yet another; I can't stop myself, these guitars are so cool! Now I have to decide which one to keep (if I can swing it I's like to keep them all). They are all cool in their own way:

with the Cherryburst:

Dude, that one is the coolest of them all. HNGD!

Hey, haven't I already seen this thread before?  Seriously HNGD (again), that's a sharp top on the new axe. There's a black cherry burst CT with D-Tuna selling in my area that makes me think twice every time I look at the ad.

Nice....got a couple myself. Very easy playing fiddles !!

Yes this one came set up in E ready to roll! Great line; so sad they closed up the US shops...I may still sell a couple if I can find a custom version- GAS never ends!

Oh that sounds sweet! I've seen the flat top black cherry, but never the Carved Top

Wow. Congrats. Very sexy guitar! I'd be keeping all of those though FWIW. What's the wood type on those things if you don't mind? On the radar...

It sure looks good. Not sure if it's sold by now but I kind of hope it is, I don't need another guitar right now and would rather not be tempted.

LOVE that dark red flame! I don't see that on the list- that may be a custom shop :inlove:

Here's some info on the HP series:

HP Special CT USA Transparent Colors

25-1/2” scale; Oil-finished, highly figured asymmetrical birdseye maple neck with graphite reinforcement; Three-on-the-side headstock; 22 frets; 3-way pick-up selector; Offset basswood body with sculpted neck joint; Bound figured maple arch top; Two custom wound “HP Signature” humbucking pick-ups with coil taps; Fully-floating Floyd Rose –style locking tremolo; Master volume and tone controls; Enclosed die-cast Schaller machine heads; Case included; Made in Peavey USA Custom Shop (rosewood & ebony fretboard options available through Peavey USA Custom Shop). Colors available are: Transparent Amber, Transparent Moonburst, Transparent Margarita, Tobacco Burst, Cherryburst. Note: The matching headstock will be birdseye. There will not be a veneer to match the wood on the top. That is a custom shop option only.

That last part appears to be false; every HP Special I've seen has a matching headstock

Hell yea that is the sweetest looking of them all. Very striking against the maple neck.

Those are beautiful. Congrats!

I have a custom model, same shape but no trem.

That thing looks GREAT!!! But those wall hangers are the coolest thing EVER!!! Where can I find some?

Thought nobody had seen those... they're 90% awesome and 10% creepy

guess I better revisit peavey. i didnt know they built guitars like that one.

When EVH took his guitar line elsewhere, all those talented USA Wolfgang guys kept making guitars- tweaked a bit it became the HP Special. I actually like them better than the Wolfgang I had- which was a great axe too. But I love the float- no float option & the neck is a bit faster. Stunning how it only lasted a few years before closing up US shop.
