That's what I've heard about this line as well - it's basically putting back everything I did not like about the Peavey Wolfie...floating trem, more traditional body shape, pickup selector in a comfy spot (for me), etc. Shame these are gone and can only be spotted used here and there now. Been keeping an out but one never seems to surface just when I have the funds avail, arghh!! Congrats again. Killer stash of rare guitars man!

Agreed, those extra refinements make the HP Specials that much nicer for me. Having push-pull coil splitters is also a nice plus, I'll have change the knobs on mine for more grip though, the stock top hats aren't easy to get a hold of on the fly.
