NGD!! persistence paid off. N4 content with a story.

Very cool!
When you said Kahler, I was thinking the original Kahler roller trem - which the N4's never had. Those Kahler Steeler trems are killer quality!
 
Update: I just took the guitar apart and compared it to my first Davies N4. It's all original except the volume knob. The wood of the neck is darker and seems to be a bit thicker, which is odd since these guitars were only 12 away from each other on the production line.
