I've haven't been lurking the forums for a few weeks now... that whole real life thing  Anyway I picked up a Synergy Syn1 + an Engl Savage module last week for $299 at Guitar Center. I totally didn't really want or need this thing but for that price I had to try lol. I think it's cool but overall its not for me. Maybe if I didn't have a Kemper I would be more into it?

Anyway I brought it work the day after I got it and put this clip together on my lunch break (drums and rhythm tracks) with my traveler guitar. Guitars are straight into the interface using the built in cab sim. I added bass and solos with my Kemper yesterday and thought I'd share. Enjoy!

Good tune, sounds pretty badass and goes good with Vikings

You wouldn't want to turn the sag knob that high on higher gain modules. Turning it all the way down (or using just a hair of it) is usually the way to go.
The built-in analog cab sim is usable but meh at best. Try it with some IR's or run it into a power amp and a cab and it'll sound a lot better.

your clips are typically killer... will have to listen later

in the meanwhile... i hope life gets her shit together for you...she's a bitch at times.

Ah... you know I was messing with the sag quite a bit but wasn't getting too much of a noticeable difference but maybe that was cause I was using the built in cab sim. I did try it with IRs and even brought it to practice slaving thru a PRS MT15, it worked well. Using the 3 way switch on the engl module worked pretty good too for changing the bass response.
