These were posted by MF twice recently and I scooped one for my friend. I recently unboxed it and played it through my Marshall DSL and it sounded great. I was pleasantly surprised with the ESP pickup and the matte black looks great in person.

Next time these pop up, I might grab one for myself.

nice!! Everyone aways swaps out that lh-150 pup, but i think they sound great

Your cosign is what made me pull the trigger. I'm really pleased with the pickup. It's clear up top with distortion, they chug just fine and tight. I'm not using this guitar for any cleans, so I didn't even play it clean lol. But no one is buying this guitar for its clean tones.

cool, I’m glad you gave it a chance!! I see guys on ESP forums asking what pup to put in and I’m thinking… did you even listen to the pup in there,,, lol

I don’t think I’d be able to distinguish the SDs in my Schecter over this pup. Sounds perfectly reasonable especially at the price point.

I have been looking at the 2025 versions of this line as I strongly prefer the gloss black over the matte finish. I really like the simicity and the reverse headstock. Hows the hardware? Reasonable?

I picked up the gloss TE-201 - hardware is really good. Tuners seem better than my older TE-200’s and bridge/tuning is solid

Nice. The offset fret markers and reverse headstock remind me of some Ormsbys. I wondered if they were made in the same factory. Affordable Ormsbys are made at World Musical Instruments in Korea, this LTD in Indonesia. Wonder if there is a significant difference in build quality between the 2 factories.

Yesterday I played a used Yamaha PAC311h at Tone Shop while checking out an amp. It was impressive for $300. Clear tones, great feel, as good or better than the best Squiers I've played and own. My only gripe was sharp fret ends. Otherwise, wow. I'd totally grab it as a beater.
Kids starting out have some great affordable guitars to chose from.
