Was meant to get a new Ribbon mic on Monday, per Fed Ex we’ll see if tomorrow is the day..maybe. Out for delivery for three days now…lol. At least UPS got me one of my binge pedals from GC..and on the day they said they would.

Fed Ex will be brutal this season. They can’t arrive on time in August.

My EV said delayed in Los Angeles and never updated tracking until it was out for delivery about three days later. My main UPS route driver is a cool dude so that is usually who I try to have ship stuff. He always honks so I know he's there and so my dogs don't bite him. My local USPS punches peek holes in all my packages, a regular thieves guild. The only package I got unmolested from them was when I ordered live poultry. I have a knife on order I hope those bastards don't steal it.

OMG, it arrived. Of course the box for the mic was fucked up but the mic itself seems to work fine. Irritates me, as having the OG box for reselling is important to me. There was some accordion action on the external box and it must have taken quite a hit to do what it did to the internal box.

I’ll try and do that. The previous Ribbon was giving me all kinds of phase issues with a 57 due to it’s figure 8 pattern but when I used this it was instant goodness as it’s cardiod. Pretty happy with the sound of it too.
