No EBT Payments in November due to Gubment Shutdown...

I'm about done with this s**t. I'm laid back until cornered or pushed. Sick of the victim & entitlement mentality. Scamming the gov't for generations. Scumbags. 72 hours after the lack of checks/funds will be an interesting point. That is when LI got crazy after a blackout a few years ago.

I'm out in the woods, with a 15-30 minute response time from our shared resident state trooper.
If you value my food, welfare & livelihood more than you value your life.. that is on you. Especially since you aren't starving yet. You're just pissed off and lazy, not starving.
My doors are locked for your protection, not mine. 2 75 lb dogs, a wife who wakes up if a leaf falls outside... good luck stepping into my abode & trying to take food from my family's mouth. Try it & see how it goes... there are far better options if you want to be able to have a mouth or head left to put food into.
Keep moving... try a different neighborhood.

Not hoping, wanting or expecting this to be a scenario, but am trained & ready if that is what it comes down to. I'd feel far less regret dropping an intruder in my house than I do when dropping a deer, squirrel, duck, goose or moose.
Shame that hood rat is not desirable table fare, nor even desirable to interact with. Seems like there is no limit though, as they have zero problem taking each other out. Too bad there is so much collateral damage to people not involved in those scuffles or that stupidity.

I hope they are all blowing smoke and if they do actually choose to pull this crap, they all keep it in the cities. My town literally has one traffic light and only 2 gas station markets. No actual grocery store - so no reason to be out here

As I said in another post, these idiots are most likely a small percentage talking shit for clicks and likes. That being said, we all know the impressionable mentality and lack of impulse control present in this demographic so best to be prepared.
This shit may light the powder keg. I really hope it doesn't.

My area has a bigger problem with people coming through in stolen cars - up the main route - and trying cars in driveways. Dumb kids, some meth head issues out here as well. Just had a meth lab blow up one town over a few weeks ago.
Tweakers are different, but just as viable of a target if they cross my threshold.
If you are in my house during the night uninvited, I assume your intentions are less than good.
I will react with the proper level of resistance to neutralize the threat.... LTL if at all possible.... dogs first, and take it from there

About the same scenario here, cities with populations of welfare suckage are 25+ miles away. But it pays to be vigilant; recent timed "exercises" have me getting my Glock out of the case, clip in and round chambered in 15-20 seconds. I sleep upstairs and envision the door at the bottom opening and the perp having a green dot in his/her chest.
Good luck to us all but I figure most of the threat is what we've seen, online spewing of bravado.

any remaining stores that sell food in these EBT areas are probably going to be looted. This is just another excuse for them to burn, loot, murder and destroy their own neighborhoods.

I stay out of their neighborhoods in general, and can avoid them for the most part, but not always. I always carry; I just carry a larger caliber and more rounds if I know I may be in their neighborhoods.

Limited at 10+1 here in the "Constitution" State (yes - I'm acutely aware of the thick irony). No limit on how many mags we can have on us when in public though. Just no "high" (edited & parenthesis added for correctness) cap mags -and those had to have been declared as well. Insanity
And they did recently outlaw OPEN carry (though I have never been a proponent of open carry)

We have Constitutional carry, though I still keep my Weapons permit that allows concealed carry. I never open carry even though we can; most people are clueless and it's just inviting trouble.

If I'm going into or near an EBT area I'll have one of my larger handguns, 9mm or 10mm, in the car, in addition to my usual concealed carry. I have several 30 and 32-round mags, respectively, for each; and always have a round in the chamber if shit happens fast. I hope I never have to use it; it's better to be prepared and not need it vs needing it and not having it.
