I wasn't saying you should off yourself. I just think you just need to take back some control. I'd be doing the father-daughter/son summer long roughing it camp out with the kid. "This is what men do". Shoot squirrels and make her clean them. Stand and piss nearby, fart , belch, and eat peanuts and make her/him whittle sticks and collect firewood. Bait hooks with worms and leeches and then maker her clean fish. Be a man then, daughter. Up next: how to run a chainsaw like a man. You need to move someplace where the men are still men that way when you put your old lady in her place it's the cultural norm. She needs to step off. My wife makes better money than me but I still ain't getting bossed by her, ever. I just start saying dumb stuff to her like she says to me "I'll just leave", lol. She always starts to laugh cause it's so damn ridiculous. How soon are you going to leave then haha. I have no tolerance for a woman who goes full boss mode. I gotta good woman from a poor upbringing so she is easy to please and mostly does what I say so we've made it 22 years. And the woman can cook....
I know, it was kind of a dick move to say as much but damn if I don't feel a whole world better about my own situation when I read Bill's posts. I'd buy a nice tent and move to the damn woods before I put up with what he's dealing with. But it's family and he's doing right by toughing it out. I just think he needs a change of scenery for the whole family. A "back to the land" move. WV, AR, MS, LA, AL, TX TN, someplace like that where people are more normal. I probably would shoot myself if I had to live on the east coast. Looks pretty miserable over there. And expensive. I need cheap cigs, beer, bacon, land, and fuel.....
