Another I sold and almost instantly regretted, its a Charvel custom shop from the 2008 NAMM show.Due to some interesting circumstances I was able to get it back though. The day after I traded in to GC to get back my ESP (which came in with a warped neck if you remember) It was put on layaway. This was ALL the way back at the end of september. They cancelled the layaway on the lady 2 months ago and I was in the store when they were bringing it out and questioned buying it back. The store manager said it was accidentally cancelled and they brought it right back into the back and put it on layaway again for her, what a tease right.

Well, last week they finally decided to fully cancel it on here, after having little to no contact from her and also not putting any more than her initial deposit down. As some may know, GC has a 30 day layaway policy with a loop hole if you put more cash down every couple weeks it will restart our time frame. They called me when it was cancelled and I put it on hold until I decided what I wanted to do as I do still have to come up with another $4k for my Anderson order that will be done in July. I couldn't let it get away again though.

Here's where it gets funny. I get a call from GC on friday asking if Im serious about buying the guitar as the lady who had it on hold all those months called them and said she wanted it and was ready to pay for it. They informed her it was on layaway with me and she gave them a sob story about buying it for her husband who has another one of the limited runs from that same NAMM show. They call to tell me I have until saturday(yesterday) to make up my mind or they are sending it to her, keep in mind I have money on it. I inform them that would be illegal and Im not going to be rushed as I have 30 days. I really contemplated leaving it on layaway for the remainder of time but I just wanted to get it home. I know why they were pushing me, They had already agreed to take a chunk off the price because I was the one who traded it in and she was going to pay full price. Get bent right lol. Anyway, I grabbed it yesterday, told them to forward my email to her and Id sell it to her for $2500 if she wants it lol. Its literally like they gave me a loan on it because its been in its case the ENTIRE time its been there
