I was wondering, if you found a non GEQ model mark can mesa mod it to have a GEQ?

Mike B can, but the issue is does he have any available faceplates anymore? Only thing you can do is call Mesa Customer service...and, Mike will probably call you back and chat with you about it, if he still does it. He's super cool to talk to.

Mike does still have faceplates available. B stock mark iiis if you’re doing a 3 or earlier…

Even the non GEQ models have went up in price. It probably doesn't makes since not to go ahead and spend the extra to get the geq model. Hopefully the prices come down over the next few months. All these post recently about blue and green stripes got my interest piqued

I emailed mesa last month and asked this very question. Below was their response.

"Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, we are not able to mod non Graphic Mark amps into Graphic versions as we no longer have the graphic EQ boards or the correct front panels to make it proper. The tech that does all those Mark mods suggested getting one of our Boogie 5-Band Graphic EQ pedals and putting the EQ in the FX loop. This will get the same sonic results and will be in the same place in the signal path.
Sorry we could not be more help here and please let me know if you have any further questions.
Thanks!"

There is a guy in Europe (33 workshop) that makes faceplates and mod to EQ
