Noob at Floyd Rose! Experts come in

I am no expert on trems. I have 4 springs on my 57 reissue strat and it is super loose. I have 3 springs on my charvel and it is stiff. Both set up with 10s. I think the trem claw placement also has an impact. The strat's is not screwed in that far & the Charvel is screwed in quite a bit.

Go with the 2 spring method and make them diagonal instead of straight when you do so. /\

I have several trem guitars. Some have 2, some have 3, and ones I don't want to move hardly have 4.
