That is beautiful! Is that just a reflection where the neck pocket meets the neck underneath the 17th fret?

I noticed that too.

Also, I see the case fraying near the top guitar horn and strap button. That usually happens from use. ;)

Man just think....46-2's cousin sells it for 30k. Guy who buys it joins RT. Posts a NGD. AFTER he sent it to a local guy for
a ....wait for it......RELIC JOB!!!!!!

That would be like buying a MINT 67 plexi and sending it to Joe for his Joe shit mod......

Fictitious guy should go ahead and slap a Floyd Rose on it while he’s at it.

Yeah, I know people can do what they want, they own it....but CMON!!! I could handle the Relic, but a KAHLER???????
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Or the guy buys it, then gets a Paypal refund because a string broke during shipping, Paypal issues refund prior to seller receiving guitar back...all while the buyer is selling it on Reverb (with the rare and coveted 'Keith Richards' mod).

Love me some Keith Richards mod!!! I've only seen it on a Tele, but, hey, a Strat'll work, too!!

Ok, relic job, Kahler, EMGs and convert to 5 string.., check. Now it’s worthless. Lol No need for the insurance now.

All joking aside that is an amazing find. I go to estate sales all the time with the hopes of finding something like this.

Yeah, it really is an amazing find! Few and far between, that's for sure. Years ago, I had a friend who found a late '50s LP Junior at a garage sale. Think he gave $50 for it. I am never so lucky... :)

You guys saying mid five figures and "six figures" are way, way..way..way overshooting and if you are interested in a 64 strat, please call me because I will sell you one at those prices   .

A 64 in mint condition will probably fetch $18K-20k with a COA to a buyer who really really wants it. A vintage shop like Normans might give you $15k.

That's probably closer to reality.

She's pretty. Sell it to a japanese guy for $22k. You will get it. I would rather just keep it and play it personally. I know you said it's not yours but...if it ever is just keep it. Also expected to get contacted by Mark Agnesi soon, lol.

Yeah, just a reflection or something. I've seen the guitar in person. Its flawless.

Why couldn’t I have had an old relative who had one of those just lying under the bed somewhere? Life’s not fair.

Well it's not like it's mine or anything. And my cousin is around my age—maybe late 30s. He got it at an estate sale like 15 years ago I think. I don't really care for Strats much. If it were a Les Paul Custom, I'd be begging him for it haha.
You might change your mind if you plug it in and play it
