I love Jack Link's jerky. Original is my favorite, but Hot & Sweet's not too bad, either.

I`ve tried it once before (not easy to come over, few chains stores sell it), and I believe it was Hot & Sweet. It was nice too.

I might have been drunk at the time, because I got two packs, and they were a lot bigger than the ones I got today. Damn craving for meat cost me as much as the night out did

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......I see a new business model to migrate into :D

We have dried meat over here as well, but it`s usually not seasoned with anything, except for the fresh air it`s hung in.

And the two Norwegian traditional dried meat-types are "Fenalår", which is dried leg of lamb

And "Spekeskinke", similar to Serrano etc.

Norwegian cattle farmers are few and far between, and most of the meat is either eaten fresh, or frozen.
Jerky being a somewhat "healty" snack, should be exempt from taxes and VAT!

(Maybe I should become a politician. Then we could do lobby business together :D)

You should copy that guitar with your last flat black charvel

Knut, I should have filled that guitar case full of beef jerky

Jack Link's is good, but I like Oberto better. Jerky is expensive, but worth it.

Geez, $150 for a kilo???

:D

JL is good stuff though, used to have the Maple brown sugar tender cuts all the time, great snack if you're working out a lot...then I got cheap and started having almonds instead :)

Yeah, it probably gets taxed from here to eternity! With shipping costs/VAT/overhead for the store.. The 25 grams I had was worth the 4$ I paid, but still.

That`s actually true, and I forgot about the reindeer meat. The Sami people up north makes it for home use. It`s the leanest meat you can find, and very very good!

Oh man I haven't made beef jerky in ages. Time to break out the Little Chief smoker and get some going
