Alright my continuing adventures of “can’t leave well enough alone” keep a rolling....back to the drawing board with that KnE body...adding a tone pot, went with Roth RattleBomb Surfite Silver and Beaver Brown candy. Had to correct some streaks and used way more candy than planned but like the color better than my initial plan...figuring out this paint thing. Wood skewers are there to help me get the bridge straight and in the right spot since I plugged the mount holes

Purple Tele should get done this week too, just got word the bridge parts were done and shipped

Looking great. I can't say I've ever seen candy brown but I definitely like it.

man you know after almost 40 years of playing, I have never taken it upon myself to paint a guitar. thought about it several times but never actually did. I have a body I purchased at a guitar show in Dallas a few years ago. I may actually take the plunge and try it myself. yours looks pretty damn good to me. I can't wait to see your all assembled and ready for battle!

Very nice . I decided against painting my Explorer body and the reason I did that is because I was sick of worrying about scratches and dings . I decided to just use repeated coats of Danish oil among a few other types of oils .

Fine job sir. Love the reds purples and burgundy's..
Can I talk you into routing for a Neck Pickup??
