I got a big box from Wayne today. I open a pedal box, and take out the pedal, and eat the candy. I open a pedal box, and take out the pedal, and eat the candy. I open a pedal box, and take out the pedal, and eat the candy. I open a pedal box, and take out the pedal, and eat the candy. I put my buttons on them and ran out the door. My tummy hurts. Why did I eat a dozen Bit-o-Honeys for dinner? That was a terrible idea.

Anyways, I slapped them on my board. I'll rip them at rehearsal tomorrow. I'm going to go lay down.

Okay. I took some time with them.

The Rig-Talk 20th Anniversary Big Stones is amazing. I got it dialed in about where I usually run it on the green, and then dialed in a faster rate on the red. I messed with the feedback and depth in different spots, and flipped all the switches. There is no phaser sound this thing won't do. So happy to have that pedal.

I also got the @MadAsAHatter signature Hatters Overdrive. I kicked it on and was immediately floored. I had it set way too loud. It took my head off. I then took a second to dial it in and it's also sweet. It seems like a legit OCD, but I didn't get to do a shootout yet. I'll get to that sometime.

I also have this shootout to do too.

After listening to you tell me that doom cred is built on volume the other day you should be ashamed of yourself for saying this. Take it back, or at least provide contact info so that I can report you to the doom police.

I think eventually I will need one of those Phase 45/90's in my arsenal because 1970's Albert King. I want to get a full report on that and the Big Stones since you are the king of phasers in the realm of guitar forums.

When your rig is already set up for doom, and the pedal is too loud, you enter into "I can't hear out if my right ear" territory.

The 20th Pedal came out really good .... glad you like it Bezo !!

Don't forget the DIP switches inside the Hatter .... lets you closely replicate the different revisions over the years .. everything pretty much except changing actual pot values ..

and yeah .... that sucker has push/volume ... especially in LED clipping mode

Yeah, you can see in the pic where the knobs started. I had volume at 1 o'clock and gain at 10 o'clock. When I kicked on that patch, it just about took my head off. My baseline was already loud. It was "did I just break something?" loud.

I wanna mess around with it more. I'm going to bring them home after rehearsal tonight and do some shootouts and stuff.

...I just need some free time first.

how do you guys play these space shuttle type pedal boards. id be a lost soul :)
Im confused with only Guitar-OD-Wah-Amp

Easy. I only touch the 8 buttons on the FX (well, and the tuner). Everything else just happens. I did all the hard stuff like programming (which isn't hard at all) ahead of time to make the performing part is really simple.

I just like to play guitar.
That's why I program. I set it all up to do a bunch of things with one button, and live I just hit that button. It frees me up to stare at tiddies while I play.

I'm just kidding. Chicks don't go to sludge shows.

I don't even like kicking a pedal on or off so my board more or less just stays on the whole show, assuming I even bring a board. I suppose the expectation at a doom show vs a blues show is different though. I still want my phaser report when you are ready to deliver.

You might want to have a doctor look at those feet, they seem to need some more circulation......:p:LOL:
