It's not going to be my main rig cause I've got way to much to learn about it right now. Still have my main EVH stereo rig and G-System for gigging but sold off my B rig to get this. Axe II, Matrix GT 1000FX 2U and (2) XiTone passive wedges. Major learning curve going on with the Axe but amazed so far. On the wait list for the Fractal foot controller but for now the Ground Control Pro will suffice till then. I've officially become apart of the digital age. Will probably incorporate the Axe into my amp rig for FX only then see how close I can get with the modeling.

Join the Fractal Forum if you haven't already. You'll get tons of advice there. Just tell them what your setup is.

Love that white charvel with H/S configuration. Is that a special order or one of the runs they did in the sub 1000$ range?

Kind of weird seeing you post a pic of your gear with no 5150III in site. I almost shed a tear

Actually, I've tossed the idea around of selling my EVH 50w rig for a similar set up (can't believe I just said that  ).
Curious as to why you went with the power amp into passive wedges vs. all in one powered wedges.

Nice simple set-up that can cover tons of sonic ground. Thanks for the GAS!

Lmao! I sold off the black EVH halfstack and silver G-System and my black EVH 50 watt and 2x12. I kept both ivory halfstacks and ivory 50 watt and 2x12 and red limited G-System. Not going full steam ahead digital. Not yet anyway. The 5153 blue and red channel models in the Axe sound sound great though. Such an amazing unit. Having a lot of fun learning the ins and outs. The routing possibilities are incredible.

Really impressed with the XiTone wedges. Great customer service with them as well. Class acts over there. Kind of wish I would have got the single space Matrix unit instead of the 2 space but that's no big deal. I still have space in the rack for a rack mount wireless like the G90. The Ground Control Pro is fine for now since I'm not using the Axe for live use but I'm looking forward to getting the new Fractal MFC-101 unit when it comes out.

My friend has both the 50w 5153 and an Axe Ultra...After hours of A/B-ing, we thought it sounded best using the 5150 for natural tones and the axe for all of the effects...minus the overdrive.

Forgot to mention:
Killer rig, and congrats!!

Congrats, just sold my Axe2 and MFC-101 a month or so ago.
Going through an Analog Phase of my life... really happy with that right now.

Ya, I will be using it for just effects at first with my 100 watt 5153's.

No way I ever get rid of my glass. The Axe and Kemper stuff is great but I need my tubes.

Ditto.
