He’s one of the rare ones with such a long career, who still goes out and plays like he’s got something to prove.

I remember going to see Extreme when they were still an opening act around 1990-ish. All I knew of them at the time was "More Than Words" because it was all over MTV, etc.. I remember thinking "man, these guys suck!", thinking they were some kind of acoustic "lovey, dovey" band.. Well, I couldn't tell you who the main act was that night (maybe Winger :ROFLMAO: ), but I remember Extreme. Holy Cow! They opened with "Get the Funk Out" and never looked back. Immediately went out and bought Pornograffitti and have been a Nuno fan ever since.

I always loved this song and still sing it to myself sometimes when I get up for work. This also reminds me of Van Halen, love the song and the guitar just carries it.

When I heard Play With Me on Bill and Ted, as a kid, I had to stay for the credits to find out who it was.
This ^^^

I had literally just moved out to LA in Feb of '89 to start the Spring/March incoming class at G.I.T. I got settled in and went to see Bill and Ted at a weekday matinee - 6 peeps in the theater max - and literally sat through the credits to see who the band was. (See how hard we had it before the internet???) Bought the first Extreme cassette the same day and had my mind blown. Definitely got me launched in the right direction that year.

Extreme songs are very cringey to me, despite the talent in that band. Cornball lyrics and nothing is ever catchy.

Even though we’re all tired of More Than Words and Hole Hearted, they are still the only songs of theirs I’ve heard that is “good.”

yeah but they broke out during grunge/flannel which killed alot of good bands.
Grunge killed Sykes "Blue Murder" never to recover and that sucks.
The 90's for me was raising 2 kids, running a business plus the Mom was a fulltime job too.
Didn't really participate in the music scene never had time.

Nuno is one of the GOAT level guitarists.

Extreme bores me, except for a very few songs. Nuno should have joined Ozzy when Sharon called him and told him a Lear Jet was waiting for him if he'd join Ozzy. Nuno said no, because Extreme was his band. A couple weeks later, Extreme broke up. Nuno slays that Ozzy stuff. I would love to hear him do a metal album!

Nuno's smart enough to stay out of the Ozbourne drama machine plus he doesn't need it he's already a success.

Wow I owe this dude an apology. Despised extreme. Couldn’t stand that fuckin band. Pop metal…maybe a step above poison or winger…..but damn. Dude is legit. He loses a few points for painting his fingernails…not cool…don’t give a fuck what anyone says…. But he’s a headcutter for sure. 👍 really hit me that they get him for about everything when they need a guitar player and he kills it. Watching some of the sabbath concert performances and he’s just in there doing his thing and killing it. His work on changes was just next level as far as I’m concerned. Nuno…sorry bro…but lose the nail polish…
I don’t like when men paint their fingers and toes. Something about it just rubs me the wrong way… what was it again??? Oh yeah! It’s fucking GAY!

Nuno has been a huge influence on me since I heard his album, "3 Sides," in the '90s...
but my favorite album is "Waiting for the Punch Line."
I love that raw punchy sound.

Nuno has always been a beast on guitar. I was in the early stages of learning to play when the first Extreme album came out. Pornografitti is still one of my favorite guitar albums. His right hand precision is just insane.

Always loved the Dramagods album; annoyed it still isn't on Spotify
