Ever tried to play this with his bounce?

Dude is just ridiculous

Nuno is sick. I was learning the solo to "Play With Me" about a week ago. Brutal string skipping and arpeggios. Good stuff!

Yep..... There's a serious groove to everything he plays

Definitely tons of groove. He's so much more interesting than a lot of shredder-type players for that reason. His use of rhythm and his groove.

Agree completely.

Extreme just came out with a new live DVD, must have for Nuno fans.

Great stuff! What amp do you think he was using there. I would think it was a practice amp, it sounded awesome!!

Nuno is the king of funk infused metal riffage. I have Pornograffiti in my car. Gotta keep the groove in whatever speed metal I am able to dish out. Nuno is a great shredder full of crazy acrobatic leads but the riffage is the foundation for all things sick and stripper pole related. He should do a collaborative work with Rob Zombie.....

A sick shredder version of Living Dead Girl with Megan Fox all Vampired up and naked (except some blood for extra sheen) shaking that tight a@@ of hers.... Now that would be worthy......

Thanks!!! I can't get this fucking image out of my head now!

Awesome guitarist. He always has so much going on in his playing.

I really dig the pance.

I am only guessing but, do you think he is playing with Rhianna because he needs the cash?

I do love his feel and technique though.

No idea what he was using, but I agree.... sounded great

I'm on a mission to learn a ton of his rhythm stuff now....wish me luck

I could almost play Warheads all the way through smoothly a year or so ago. It's not a hard song at all and the riffs and solos are amateurish and easy to play because of the slow tempo. I am an anteater.

Nuno is in my top five. His tone was just sick on the first Extreme disc. I wish he would go back to that tone.

I picked it up and the cd. His tone has some beef to it now, at least on the dvd. I like it a lot!

I've been a huge Nuno fan since I first heard "Kid Ego" all those years ago. I've been able to catch him live twice, and the guy is one of the most gifted players I've ever witnessed!

Incredible, superhuman technique, but with a big, fat, NASTY sense of groove that separates him from everyone else, his rhythmic, almost percussive style almost reminds me of a supercharged Eddie Van Halen with even more funk.

If you haven't picked up the new "Take Us Alive" yet, you're totally missing out. In addition to Nuno being a freak, the whole band is great; Gary is a fantastic frontman and both Nuno and Pat's harmony vocals sound amazing.

Catching them on the last tour with another one of my all-time favorite bands, King's X, last year is already in my top 5 shows of all time.
