Bogner tells me 8-10 weeks but I think that might be a bit optimistic. I would think around NAMM they would be shipping but could be sooner. 20% down to pre order and balance when shipping. PM me if you want in.

I bet people aren't gonna keep talking smack now are they! That's why it is always best to wait for the full demo. That amp sounds great! Simple maybe, but fantastic! I still can't afford it and of course the player makes a huge difference but nonetheless it is bitchin.

Considering everyone mods their Marshalls around here, I concur, just another flavour of the same thing. (which seems to be the most popular) I hence have no problem with a hot rodded muscled up variant like this one. The Victory amps are also in the same price range and seem to do the hot rodded british thing as well. I also like the look of those.

Not quite. More like a tweaked Marshall circuit which is how Reinhold got his start and how people fell in love with the Bogner sound in the first place! (Just like Peter Diezel and countless others )

RB is listening to what people want and that is a good thing.

This amp sounds SO good! And yes, it does have the juicy, woody Bogner tone, just more high-mid focused. Plenty of gain on tap. Awesome.

Ya. I heard the first clip a few days ago and went "meh...another Marshall". And seriously, I'm not really a Marshall kinda guy, I like things to be a bit weird and complex in the sounds... Different. Unique. We all know that the amp DNA is either Marshall or Fender ultimately, but after hearing this clip of DR rippin' it up on the Helios? It's a gorgeous sounding amp. And not really "all Marshall" at all. I'm digging the grunt of the low chords; the fullness of the single notes... Again, I can only imagine this to sound mega big in the room, but for a recorded sesh, this amp's got a lot of colour and girth.

It's got Bogner written all over it - not Marshall.
