Man oh man, we'd love to be there and meet Mike and all the guys. But in addition to being 1200 miles away, we are neck deep in SEC football. Roll Tide!
Hope the beer is cold and plentiful for you guys!
Dave
I hope one of your cabs can make it, I have heard great comments from Erock about them
Thanks DJ. I hope so too. We have quite a few cabs in the NY area. Hopefully Greg can locate a bit of help to load the beast to prevent scratching. It can be done easily with two people but I sure understand his caution. I have damaged my own stuff from loading and we all know how that feeling hits you right in the gut.
I've heard so much great stuff about Mike's amps but haven't heard one personally through the Afterburner. I'm hoping it comes together. I've had the chance to recommend 8-10 amp buys that I know of this year and I'm really looking for just that "right one" to work with. It would be educational to say the least, to get everyone's feedback on this pairing. I have a feeling it would be pure thunder. Hopefully soon, Susie and I will be in a better position to start traveling a bit and attending more of these get-togethers around the U.S. They are a blast and it's great to shake hands, talk tone and run all the rigs. I think this one in particular will be special. I spent 7 months in Greenwich CT a few years back and just loved the area and the people. If we weren't so spoiled on warm winters down here, we'd probably relocate to NY.
Enough rambling....hope everyone has a great and safe time. Happy Thanksgiving to all
Dave
