Its recorded with a Celestion g12m Creamback. Recording chain was a Shure sm57 - Daking Mic pre - Lynx Aroura 16 converter into Steinberg Nuendo. Different speakers will get Different results. Hope that info helps.

I guess you can't win. Record with a im2 mic and a Iphone and people complain. Record it properly with expensive studio gear and a sm57 and then people like the other one.

Hey , diff strokes! Don't worry, I am growing to dislike sm57's alone for recording and that is exactly what it sounds like it was recorded with so it may not be your fault at all! I dug the first one though so i guess more "in the room" bleed is what i like from my tones.

A 57 might not be our favorite either. We used it because folks are familiar with it and it is more or less an industry wide standard as a guitar mic.

Nicely done.

I think it's not best suited to 7+ string axes or drop tunings, as much as perhaps other Friedman varietals, but overall, that's a LOT of great tone from a little 20W head!! Nice fo'shizzle.
