Just terrible.

I have to wonder if that girl's father saw that on TV. If anyone, ANYONE, ever did that to a daughter of mine, I would hunt that mother-fucker down and put him in a hole where noone would find him.

I have a very serious face on while I type this.

You can't really blame MTV for this type of bullshit. You really have to blame the idiots parents as well as our declining school system.

Here is where they got the idea from and although I laughed my ass off the first time I saw it, I still find it amazing that people like this truly exist.

I thought it was hilarious that Italian American groups were calling the show "racist". It is not like MTV made guidos up.

If Italian American groups are embarrassed, maybe they should start cluing in the guidos.

I'm in Wayne NJ right now   And Short Hills is 10 minutes from where i live

I think these morons only exist on a certain reality. You only see them in clubs. Where do they go during thr week? They're like Vampires but only come out on weekends and Holidays just to annoy everyone else in the clubs.

I don't watch MTV at all...except now that this show is on. These people are such clowns it's hilarious. I'm 100% Italian and I can say for certain that most real Italians find this to be a disgrace. Actually, until I moved to NY I had never seen people like this. But these clowns don't live in Manhattan....they can't afford to. They live in the outer-boros of Queens, Brooklyn, and mostly Staten Island. I've never seen these guys in NYC....trust me...they're not holding down corporate jobs during the week..that's for sure.

But in any event, it's hilarious. Yes, it's a disgrace and a bad influence on kids...but it all comes down to the parents. The parents of the kids on the show are assholes and if your kid watches it and attempts the same stuff without your intervention then you're an asshole parent too.

They are so full of them selves they don't know how much of a Jackass they really are...
Though they should have called the show Bennies...

1. Bennies :
The term BENNY originated from the letters of the train stations on the Jersey Shore line where annual toursit come down to the shore and mess up everything between Memorial day and Labor day.
(B)ayonne
(E)lizabeth
(N)ewark
(N)ew (Y)ork
Locals can spot a BENNY from miles away. They're ususaly of Italian decent, mostly from New York, they ask the dumbest things like "Which way is the beach?" and "What do you guys do during the winter?", they can't drive for shit, they think they're sweet, they crowd out beaches, malls, and basically our entire lives. They know only the major roads to get to the shore + home, they think it's cool to come down for the weekend, go to one of the 50 clubs on Ocean Av., trash the state and leave on Sunday. The cops all come out after Memorail day and hunt for the New York plates until Labor day, they pay WAY to much for a shack a block away from the beach.

I hope they follow it up with the P.A., Delaware version of this same species of person

1. Shoobies :
A term that originated in southern New Jersey that was used to describe tourists who packed lunches in shoe boxes to bring to the beach. Currently, the term is used to describe the flocks of northerners and Pennsylvanian's that travel to the South Jersey coastline during the summertime. They typically come in carpools of 5 or more, drive like snails, and crowd South Jersey boardwalks and beaches so much that locals can't enjoy themselves in their own hometowns.

While I somewhat agree that non-natives generally don't respect an area as much as "the locals", I've been those places without transients and they're almost just as bad. Bars like Jenks in the north and Wildwood are filled with enough assholes just from the local area to make up for any season.

The native NJ scene isn't much better than these clowns....just a bit less arrogant and flashy.

Well your comment could be considered racist if you're implying that all Italian Americans can act as one and "clue in the guidos". I'm an Italian American and don't feel responsible for those assholes. I'm not trying to start a pissing match but racism is when you associate the act of one, to many. Guidos are assholes because they're assholes. Not because they're Italian Americans. Guess what? Some of them aren't even Italian Americans. Some are Jews, Irish, whatever. Just like not all "Gangstas" are black.

Guidos are more a product of where they group up in America. Not where their parents came from.

Dave

My comment was not about Italians at all, but the notion that a civil group is offended because a reality TV show simply shows actual behavior.

Substitute "guidos" with "ganstas", "thugs", "rednecks", whatever... Ethnic descent is irrelevant to embarrassing behavior, so there is no valid reason for any civil group to be "offended" or cry racism.

Yeah i hear ya. Most of the time im at a beach with no bar seen (not that i dont drink :D ) like manasquan, manaloking and Spring Lake and such. I love the beach and always felt a strong connection to the ocean. So if i go to seaside or Pt. and see complete douchbagery it makes me sick. I wish people could learn some respect. LBI is beautiful  .

I agree New Jersey really is full of assholes. Its funny because once you head out west and get into Pennsylvania its like a different planet. Not to say there arent assholes everywhere it just seems like the majority are in New Jersey.

at some point a large section of these people will move to South Florida and move to Boca Raton where they can barely afford to live and spend all day complaining about the food and beaches here in Florida and the heat....it's Florida folks, it gets hot here. i see it every year during our sorta winter here.

I just read that the guy in the .gif punching the girl straight in the face is a high school teacher. I fear for this country's youth. Seriously. Not only are these types of put on TV, but someone is hiring them to teach kids. Just disgraceful
