The Ehx East River Drive is an exact clone of an old TS808, and is 3x less expensive than this new Ibanez.

I've still never owned a Tubescreamer in my life
Saved yourself a lot of time. They are band aid pedals. Your amp sounds like shit when you crank it? Toobscreamer to the rescue.

Same with Klons.

They both always ‘sound like pedals’ to me.

Sucks that it looks so good because a tube screamer for $300 is hilariously stupid.

lame money grab. That said, if I see one used in my local GC, I'm grabbing it, lol. Don't judge me, it's a disease. ?

same. Had MXR Micro Amp, Distortion+; EHX Screaming Tree, Boss SD-1 long ago; once I discovered EQ pedals that's all I use to boost an amp or change tone in front of an amp.

I probably have 40 other OD/boost/distortion pedals I've accumulated over the years but never a TS lol

I guess the closest thing I own is probably the Maxon SD-9?

I don't like boosts that change the tone of the amp. Clean boosts, but EQ is more versatile, it can change the tone of my guitar and boost, I like EQ in front of my 1959x when I want a second tone / lead tone...the amp and guitar already sounds good...EQ also works to tighten the low end, and tame the highs...perfect for me.

Really great to see you back participating on the forums dude ??

Never moving away from my SD-1.

It's the secret ingredient/desert island piece for all my Mesa's and Marshalls.
