Tried this last night with my BE100. I'm trying to get the VH I tone out of my live rig without Templeman's magic. This is a single 57 close mic'ed and an MXL 990 about two feet in front of the cab.

Very, very nice, love it. Excellent tone and playing!

Sounds great, I think If you went with tons of boobs in the video you'd get more replies!

Was that using the BE or the HBE input? any switches used?

Cant ask for more that that, sounded great. How was the amp set?

Sounded superb and the random slideshow of images made my day. I'm easily amused, I guess. :)

BE channel, Presence=8 Bass=4 Mid=9 Treble=9, Master=6 Gain=8, used the loop return level as the actual MV with just a patch cord linking the send and return. SAT, C45 and FAT switches were all off. Out front I had a '77 or '78 block front/script back Phase 90 >Belle Epoch set for a slight hint of slapback> Boss GE10 with a slight frown EQ> amp >Marshall basketweave cab with 6402 coned greenbacks and blackbacks in an X pattern. The actual volume in the room was just a little louder than what would probably be a typical practice volume for most people. The echoplexish dive bomb at the end was actually an MXR Carbon Copy, believe it or not.

I was torn about that, trust me! I was thinking it would be a surefire way to guarantee more views....hahahaha...

Whoah! How in the heck did you do that with the MXR CC. I've tried but I get a horrible mess that come out of it when I try.

I put it before my Phase 90 so the phase still affects the repeats. I set the Mix at noon, the Regen full on at 100%, and the delay time at about 10 o'clock or a little before. When I hit the low E harmonic at the 12th fret, I pause just a bit to let the crest of the phase "swoosh" rise under the note and then step on the CC. With the regen full up, it self oscillates...so I just turn the delay time slowly to around 2 o'clock or so to drop the pitch, then slowly turn the regen counterclockwise til the repeats fade.

You can skip the patch cable between send and return, just switch on the loop with nothing plugged in, the master in the back will work.

Ahhh...cool. That'll save me a cord. Thanks!
