Limited edition ESP Eclipse from The Axe Palace that I've been waiting for since February. Can't wait to plug this one in tonight:

Jesus, that makes dirty thoughts happen.

I really wanted one of those before the Billy Corgan Reverb thing. If there are any left later i'm gonna try to get one.

I think there are 4 or so that haven't been spoken for yet...

That looks sweet. How does that neck feel compared to a LP?

It's thinner than any Les Paul I've played for sure.

This Guitars has me really rethinking my aversion to the whole E-II thing. I was very put off by the name change but this and the Arrow are really calling my name.

Got to play it last night through the Bottle Rocket and I love the Fishman Fluence Modern pickups. The bridge pickup sounds absolutely brutal - I was playing Machine Head's Halo and the tone I was getting was perfect for that main riff. The neck pickup gave me the most liquidy lead sound - really easy to play legato. While I definitely wouldn't use these pickups in other guitars or for other styles, they are great for heavy Drop B. I'll try to record something this weekend.

Only issue is that the third pot (tone, I guess) doesn't do anything. Tried the full range of the pot in all three pickup settings and I hear no change. When I took the control cavity cover off to get the plastic off it, I noticed the third pot was a push/pull DPDT, but I forgot to try it when I put the cover back on. It must change the voicing on the pickups, but I need to check the wiring tonight...

Might possibly throw the tone out of the circuit until it’s pulled out. That’s how the Misha Mansoor Jackson sigs are wired.
