she is an advocate for the environment from Sweden. IMO she makes a lot of great points and is very intelligent, however she goes about it in an absolutely insufferable way so she gets a lot of crap for it.

I mean the stuff she says is correct. And it is her generation that will feel the effects of it.

She says stuff like this that a lot of people probably agree with

“Build back better. Blah, blah, blah. Green economy. Blah blah blah. Net zero by 2050. Blah, blah, blah. This is all we hear from our so-called leaders. Words that sound great but so far have not led to action. Our hopes and ambitions drown in their empty promises.”

“We can no longer let the people in power decide what is politically possible. We can no longer let the people in power decide what hope is. Hope is not passive. Hope is not blah, blah, blah. Hope is telling the truth. Hope is taking action. And hope always comes from the people.”

But the memes make fun of stuff like this, and that’s what people who don’t really pay attention to her, know about her

“Our house is on fire. I am here to say, our house is on fire.” Or the whole “how dare you?” Thing
