I personally don’t find it intrusive and I think for people looking for info on a certain thing it could be useful.

It would be nice if it was chronological/most recent 
maybe it is “most recent” idk but it’s gotten me in trouble a few times.. 
“dude this threads fuckin old” it would be better to have the “New Post” there or make it optionary for the user. Kind of agree with you here Jack….

IIRC on 'phone you don't have the little "x" top-right of the pop-up window that allows you to dismiss it.It would be nice if it was chronological/most recent
On desktop it's there.
As-per my reply above, I think I can say, "correct weight" bro'.
Indeed, I've seen many a thread's revival thanks to this.I personally don’t find it intrusive and I think for people looking for info on a certain thing it could be useful.

It's not too intrusive to me. I'm not a fan of the functionality though. It either brings up threads from years gone by or topic that are in no way similar to what I'm viewing. Maybe it should get renamed to "other old ass threads"
