(No, this thread is not about Techdeth - Feats, not Feets :D)

Post any clips that just make you say, "Fuck me!" and want to quit guitar. Here's a couple of mine:

Andy Wood is the most dangerous man on the planet where a 6 string is concerned. Him and Guthrie should just use their power for evil and take over the world.

Does nothing for me
Wondering if you take all the delays and effects away what it would sound like

This guy had a very interesting style, I enjoyed watching and listening to him play. He kept it from getting boring, he has a very percussive style of playing where he really digs in. I like Andy Wood but that performance wasn't as interesting as Igor's. Thanks for posting that, it was cool to watch.:2thumbsup:

I dunno, it mostly seems like acrobatics for the sake of acrobatics. There were guys like Vinnie Moore who had this level of proficiency almost 40 years ago, and in some cases, with a better sense of melody and composition than in the two videos.

The thing that makes Andy Wood next level to me isn't his technique, it's the depth of musicality he has across such a broad variety of genres. His chops are just a byproduct of the amount of time he's devoted to his craft. I'd rank him right up there with Guthrie Govan, in terms of someone who seems to have a direct, unconscious connection between what they're hearing in their head, and what their hands do.

Yngwie in the 80s. 🤷 Nobody puts up that kind of a live performance with that accuracy and speed and makes it look that easy.

I have many I could post. About each time I watch a new one on YouTube makes me want to quit. Don't go on Jam Track Central monthly contest on Facebook. The level of some of these videos is insane and let me always wonder why after 40 years I am so bad :ROFLMAO:
